Hullo, I’ve been eagerly watching the stats for my blog for the last few weeks. I used to get a lot of visitors from the States, Cananda, United Kingdom, Australia and South Africa. Although the amount of visitors from these countires grows monthly, I am now starting to see visitors from China, Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, India and the United Arab Emirates.  Welcome.

It’s great to use a yellow candle with other color candles as it applies the qualities of logic and discovery to enhance your actions.

A yellow candle is associated with intellectualism (logic and effectively using one’s mind), knowledge of all kinds, memory, mental clarity, concentration and studying (for tests and exams), knowledge, enhanced business skills, communication, discovery of the truth, honesty, protection, imagination, mind power, creativity, confidence, inspiration, gentle persuasion, attraction, charm, confidence, technology and science, commerce, travel (local or short trips), moving houses, certain money matters dealing with speculation, gambling, loans and credit, creativity, counselling, healing, surgery and conventional medicine.

I always have an orange candle on my desk and often light it during the beginning of a reading, simply to allow the particular energies associated with an orange candle to flow as this color deals with many general issues, but more specifically it creates an atmosphere of empowerment as it enhances a client’s self-esteem and personal identity.

An orange candle promotes confidence and self-esteem, independence, personal identity, ambition, success, career matters  workplace and self-employment, mental agility, helps to gain control, the law, matters of personal happiness, balance, abundance, prosperity, fertility, stamina, energy, media and communication, originality, creativity in all forms  writing, art, music, dance, enthusiasm, sudden changes, changes luck, adaptability, attraction, encouragement, stimulation, it dissuades laziness, female adolescents and young women up to age 30. Orange is a very powerful color, be prepared to face major changes if you use it.

You can combine different color candles when performing a spell or even during meditation. Be aware of how the meanings could reinforce the meaning of the other candle/s or how they could clash with one another.

Red candles symbolize health, energy, physical strength, courage, love, sexual potency, physical desire, passionate love, taking action, surviving, change and making changes, will power, conquers fear or laziness, health, vigor, protects against psychic attack, campaigns, sport, success, adolescents, young males up to age 30 and the masculine principle in Nature.

I wrote a blog several months ago about candle magic which included a short list of the color meanings associated with candles. I use candles every single day and so thought I would share some of the widely-accepted meanings associated with specific colors. I usually select a non-fragranced candle as I prefer to burn incense. I’ll include some information later on about incenses and fragrances associated with burning candles. No matter what you use candles for, the general meaning is usually the same. If you work regularly with candles, a color may develop a personal meaning that’s not normally associated with that color.

White candles signify new beginnings, originality, creativity, inventions, ambitions and success, communication with Guardian Angels, life- changing issues, health questions, healing, a personal quest, strong convictions and wishes, religious or greater purpose questions, purity, sincerity, truth, greater attainments in life, wholeness, higher power, contacting spirit helpers, balancing auras, confusing enemies, helping pregnancy or birth, raising vibrations, destroying destructive energy spirituality and peace. Whenever in doubt about which candle color, use white, it is a balanced spiritual hue. In some cultures it is the color of death and mourning.

Earning a living in this sense means all types of work, from paid employment and everyday tasks, like cooking a meal for ourselves or our families, to working on our self-healing with Reiki or on our self-development through meditation or reading inspirational books. We often confuse what we do with who we are, taking our sense of identity from the kind of job we have – or do not have. What we need to remember is that we are human beings, not human doings. We are all valuable and special; every life, every person has a role to play in the whole and we all impact on each other in many different ways, so it is important to respect any work that we have chosen for ourselves and honour ourselves by doing our best to create a feeling of satisfaction in it. On Shavuot we received the Torah, where the Rabbis recount the Jews’ proclamation that “we will do and we will hear” the laws of the Torah. The Rabbis explain that the other nations of the world were offered
the Torah, and rejected it because they claimed that it was in their nature to steal and kill. Calculating your Life Path Number is easy and only needs your birth date information. You can easily work this out for yourself or someone else. It’s a handy tool for providing a little insight into someone, but I believe that you should ask permission first.

Write out your full birth-date dd/mm/yyyy on a piece of paper, like this: 22/07/1968. You must use all four digits in your birth year. Read the rest of this entry »

This does not just mean honouring older people. It really means we should honour, respect and be grateful to everyone for the part they play in our lives – partners, friends, neighbours, colleagues, children, shop assistants, bus drivers – in fact every person we meet under any circumstances. All the people with whom you interact throughout your life are your teachers, whether you love them or loathe them, and every interaction is a potential learning experience because from a soul perspective all experiences, pleasant or unpleasant, contribute to the soul’s growth and development.

There is a saying “what goes around, comes around”, therefore as you honour and respect other people they will do the same for you too. Therefore, just for today honour and respect everyone you meet and value yourself for the important difference you make to the Universe too. Use Reiki and meditation to connect with the people who have been important in your life so far, to help to heal any past hurts or misunderstandings and to permeate all your future communications.

The simplest way to explain this is to say that a Life Path Number is to Numerology what a starsign is to Astrology. The number is based on your date of birth and provides an elementary description of you. The life path number is one of four core numbers that more fully describes you and your life. It describes your journey through life and what you can best hope to accomplish.
