One of the difficulties of meditating by yourself or as a novice is not knowing whether you are doing the “right” thing or what the benefits should feel like. You may get to the end of the meditation wondering what all the fuss is about or feel irritated and stop without working your way through.

I would suggest that you work your way through this or any other meditation a few times just by reading it step by step and when you are familiar with the meditation, you will remember the process and can build up from the suggested minimum time of 10 - 15 minutes to around double that. Send healing balls…

“The angels can work with your energy to make miracles happen. I love to make angel humming balls, which are very simple and very powerful, and it is a lovely exercise to do with a group. You make a ball of sound and color which you invite the angels to fill with their light.

As one of the crystals that I reommend buying as part of a Starter Pack, I thought I’d post some basic information about the Tiger’s Eye crystal. The first crystal I ever owned was a Tiger’s Eye. I was about 11 years old when I bought a Tiger’s Eye while on a school tour. The crsytal accompanied me everywhere for many years.

General Information

The various spellings of the name Tiger Eye, Tigers Eye and Tiger’s Eye all refer to the same stone, which is occasionally listed as Cat’s Eye. Its chemical composition is summarized as a Silicate (Tectosilicates) which is a variation of Quartz.

Tiger’s Eye stones come in a few different colors. The most common colors are gold, blue and red.

The Tiger Eye crystal gives out ‘chi’ that encourages your passion for life to blossom and stimulates your willpower and the desire for success. Read the rest of this entry »

I often give a client a crystal when I do a personal reading for them. During the past few weeks, I have given out more Turquoise crystals than any other. I don’t consciously decide which crystal to give a client, but when I see a pattern like this, I figure there is a message in this somewhere – perhaps even for someone reading this blog.

Turquoise is both a protective crystal and it enables verbal communication. I thought I’d write up some information on this very special crystal.

General information

Turquoise crystallises in the form of masses, stalactites, veins and occasionally in short small brilliantly coloured prismatic crystals. The word Chakra is Sanskrit for wheel or disk. It signifies one of seven basic energy centres in the body. Some authorities mention 9 chakras, but I will address that in a different blog. For now I want to concentrate on the traditional 7 chakras, root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye and crown.

Some people are able to see the chakras. Many psychics have this ability and use it to observe the wheel of energy continuously revolving or rotating around a person. Clairvoyants perceive chakras as colourful wheels or flowers with a hub in the centre. The chakras begin at the base of the spine and finish at the top of the head. Read the rest of this entry »
