What does the Suit of Cups mean?
In many decks, Cups are pictured as ornate chalices that often appear double-ended as though they can be filled from both sides. Any type of vessel can depict the feminine energy of the suit – cauldrons, vases, baskets, bottles, etc. Images on the cards illustrate comfort, security, happiness or contentment.
Cups describe emotions, love, romance, relationships with others (friends, colleagues etc), culture, intuition and the unconscious in addition to referring to good-natured, friendly situations. Read the rest of this entry »
