Fake it till you Make it
There’s a saying that goes, “Some days you’re the bug and some days you’re the windshield”. When you feel like the bug, what’s the best way to make it through the tough times? Fake it till you make it, is what I say. Develop an affirmation or a mantra for yourself and say it whenever you feel anxious, insecure or stressed. The affirmation can be as simple as reminding yourself that “I am happy, healthy and loved” or even “I rock!”.
Human beings react to both positive and negative thoughts or emotions no matter whether we are in a state of good health or ill health. This response takes place on a cellular level within our bodies. By clearing out internal clutter and balancing your energy, you can build-up balance and inner harmony.
Rewarding yourself regularly with positive thoughts will result in your belief in those positive thoughts. The regular practice of “downtime” quietens your mind and will feed your soul – providing perspective in your life. Downtime could be meditation or an activity you enjoy simply for yourself.
Embrace your inner powers, take charge of your life and your lifestyle – you’ll make it sooner than you think.
