Monday is the day of the Moon and is for spells concerning the home, family matters and family influences (especially maternal influences), children and animals. Its prime focus is fertility, and as a result of the Moon’s influences, represents all the ebbs and flows of the human body, mind and psyche. It is portent for protection (especially while travelling), for psychic development, clairvoyance, secrets and meaningful dreams, sea and garden rituals, for herb magick and for healing. Lunar energies are primarily yin / female.

Moon hour spells are good for bringing hidden powers to the fore and therefore good for gaining magical insights and for making wishes come true.

The Moon rules Cancer (22 June – 22 July) and is most powerful for people born under this sign, and of course, spells are particularly powerful during this period.

Archangel Gabriel rules the Moon and as the Intergrator, brings increased spiritual awareness, mystical experiences, astral travel, dreams as well as connection with the world soul through the unconscious mind, especially during prayer or meditation in natural places close to water.
