Little Books…. by Mike Harding
I recently bought a book (“A Little Book of Angels“) as a gift for a friend for her birthday. I have had several enquiries about where I bought the book, who the publisher is etc. The book can be purchased via Amazon. Here is the link to the book I bought, “A Little Book of Angels”. Here is the link for other books by the same author, Mike Harding.
Happy Birthday Christina
I bought a wonderful book today for a friend. It’s her birthday tomorrow, 5th April.
The book is by Mike Harding and is entitled “A Little Book of Angels”.
“Angels – the beautiful winged spirits that intercede between God and humankind – are central to Christian iconography. The archangel Gabriel appeared to Mary to tell her she was to be the mother of the Messiah; Jacob fell asleep and dreamed of a ladder reaching to heaven with angels ascending and descending it. Carved in alabaster or marble, painted on wood in roof bosses or corbels, luminously depicted in stained glass windows, angels are to be found inside almost every Christian church.
Mike Harding has travelled Britain, visited its finest cathedrals and quietest country churches and sought out the most magnificent array of angels from Saxon carvings on a tomb in Derbyshire to the wonderful twentieth-century stained-glass windows of Harry Clarke. Here, in his superb photographs and words both erudite and quirky are seraphim and cherubim, pre-Raphaelite angels and Baroque angels, the fallen angel Lucifer and delicate angel musicians playing harps and dulcimers.”
Enjoy your book Chris – a book about angels for an angel. Thank you for your friendship.
PS: 6 April – Since I published this post on the 4th, I have had a few queries about the book I bought so I have provided a link to my Amazon Store where you can buy “A Little Book of Angels” and other books by the same author, Mike Harding.
Healing Balls of Color
Send healing balls…

BY: Diana Cooper
“The angels can work with your energy to make miracles happen. I love to make angel humming balls, which are very simple and very powerful, and it is a lovely exercise to do with a group. You make a ball of sound and color which you invite the angels to fill with their light.
If you know someone who feels lonely or has had a heartbreak, focus on the color pink and direct the angels of love to fill your ball with their compassion and love. Read the rest of this entry »

Angels and Guides Introduced
I started this blog by moving the information across from my homepage to my blog. In response to some feedback, I have decided to break up the blog into smaller more manageable sections. My apologies to readers who may already have read the blog in it’s original format.
For this blog, I grouped angels and guides together because they both form part of the same spiritual system that we have available to help us in our practical every day life.
Angels
Angels are common to the main stream religions. Guides also form part of many belief systems and may be referred to in different styles such as Guides, Saints, Ancestors, Spirits, etc. The main difference between angels and guides are that angels are pure beings of light. They have never taken on human form. According to the Jewish/Christian tradition, angels are beings that serve G-d’s greater glory and are here to help man. According to Jewish tradition, oral law, Midrash and various mystical texts angels are heavenly beings created by G-d who are not endowed with free will. They appear on earth in furtherance of God’s will, often as messengers. They are frequently encountered in mystical texts, particularly those of the Merkabah tradition. Jewish writings on angels is not systematic. Read the rest of this entry »
