I’ve come across many articles recently bemoaning the fact that we so seldom use a desk telephone anymore because our communication consists largely of e-mailing, texting, social media and social networking. I was an early adopter of the mobile phone and loved telling people to “call me on my mobile” and felt so important when I got a call on that mobile. Like many other early adopters, I embraced texting or sms’ing. I reached a point though a few years ago where I hated my mobile. My boss always complained that I had the highest bill in the company and that it surely wasn’t possible to send so many messages. I countered that I was busy working and had no choice but to use my mobile as I travelled a lot for business and that he only had to look at the costs associated with my desk phone to see that I hardly used it so surely the lack of cost on the one offset the cost of the other. Divination:

There is a need for maintaining a good budget and taking care of finances. You may be good at handling multiple tasks. This is the beginning of a new venture where a lot of effort is required. You need to be flexible and highly energetic. This is a symbol of fun and good times

I believe that a knowledgeable and balanced perspective is necessary in both our personal and work lives. This I have learnt the hard way – a focus on work led to me ignoring important parts of my personal life. I cannot take that back, but I have learnt to stop more frequently and to evalute where I am and what I am doing. Part of learning the discipline of perspective has been to expand my knowledge about life and the universe.

I also believe that when I consult with clients that I need to be able to offer the most that I can. To do that, I started studying all sorts of subjects. Right now, I am turning my attention to 2 things; Wicca and Life Coaching. Two opposing subjects, but I believe that both are necessary to expand my insight and understanding of the Universe.

I plan to start the life coaching journey towards the end of the year, but I’ll share what I have already learnt and continue to learn about the Universe.

You may have gathered by now that I have recently completed Reiki 1. I’m loving the additional balance and harmony.

As I have grown older and developed my skills, I have come to appreciate the many facets of life. I know my weaknesses and my strengths. By completing Reiki 1, I feel that I have an opportunity to work on some of my weaknesses. The first precept “Just for today – do not worry” is my starting point. Reiki is an ancient healing technique; which infuses life force energy to the receiver and often relieves pain, speeds up the healing process, reduces stress and revitalises the energy of the receiver.�

When Reiki is transmitted through laying-on of hands in a treatment it stimulates life force energy in the receiver recharging their energy system.� Lack of vitality (chi or ki) is the main cause of dis-ease in the non-physical body in the same way lowered immune response is the physical reaction to manifested disease.� Laying-on of hands with Reiki stimulates life force energy facilitating the non-physical body’s full return to vitality and health.� It is the belief of many Reiki and holistic practitioners that dis-ease is manifested first on non-physical levels and is later manifested in the body so that when the subtle body or auric field is recharged, health can return to the physical body.� The Reiki practitioner draws the life force from the Universe and passes it onto the receiver; in the process both the practitioner and receiver draw in this healing energy from the electromagnetic field around them. Temperance

This is the fifteenth card in the Major Arcana and is numbered 14.

Divination:

Do not force people to accept your views immediately. Give them time. Till then, better to avoid debates and arguments. Common sense, compromise and a cool mind needed to overcome this situation. A moderate temperament reaps harmony, happiness and confidence.

Justice

Divination:

You may get involved in legal issues. Seek sound advice from elders. You will be able to lead a harmonious and balanced life. You will be known as considerate and virtuous person. You will get sound judgments in all your issues.
