Tiger’s Eye


As one of the crystals that I reommend buying as part of a Starter Pack, I thought I’d post some basic information about the Tiger’s Eye crystal. The first crystal I ever owned was a Tiger’s Eye. I was about 11 years old when I bought a Tiger’s Eye while on a school tour. The crsytal accompanied me everywhere for many years.

General Information

The various spellings of the name Tiger Eye, Tigers Eye and Tiger’s Eye all refer to the same stone, which is occasionally listed as Cat’s Eye. Its chemical composition is summarized as a Silicate (Tectosilicates) which is a variation of Quartz.

Tiger’s Eye stones come in a few different colors. The most common colors are gold, blue and red.

The Tiger Eye crystal gives out ‘chi’ that encourages your passion for life to blossom and stimulates your willpower and the desire for success. Read the rest of this entry »
