Meditation
If you have been browsing any of my other blogs, you will by now know that I am a firm believer in meditation. My clients know that I am a practical person (I have a few 4’s and 8’s in my numerogical chart). I believe that everything should be as simple as posible and that life should be lived gracefully. This goes for meditation as well. Most people initially shrink away from the idea of meditation as the word sometimes conjures up mental images of long flowing orange robes and chanting “ahm” and “ohm” for an unbearably long time. Not so.
We all need down time, time to relax. We all need to rest our mind from daily overload input. We all need to fill our spirit with renewed energy. We all need a little help in our daily lives.
Just as the physical body needs food and sleep to function at a basic level, our Higher selves needs sustenance. As childen we were taught “An apple a day keeps the Doctor away”. I believe that 10 to 15 minutes of meditation a day also keeps the doctor away. Read the rest of this entry »
